With great pride, my former student Amy Wlodarski and her students will perform the world premiere of Vineland, a new work for choir.

Vineland will open the concert “Earth Without Song,” performed by the Dickinson College Choir on Saturday, December 7th at 7:00pm and Sunday, December 8th at 4:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall in the Weiss Center for the Performing Arts at Dickinson College (Carlisle, PA). The concert is free and open to the public. Student soloists for the work are Audrey Schlimm (soprano), Victoria Dionisos (alto), and Brendan Carr (tenor).

The Dickinson College Choir presents a vision of climate change through songs written by composers whose diverse subjectivities--myriad faith traditions, gendered identities, ethnicities and nationalities--reflect the widening impact of global inaction on human life and the health of the planet. Featuring additional works by fellow contemporary composers Mohammed Fairouz, Ola Gjeilo, Ivo Antognini, Frank Ticheli, Tarik O’Regan, and Stephen Leek.
