Su Lian Tan Named Fletcher Professor of the Arts

Su Lian Tan was awarded Middlebury College’s endowed chair of Fletcher Professor of the Arts by Middlebury College President Laurie Patton. President Patton cites Tan’s contributions “to the cultural vitality of the College, not only in the classroom and in scholarship, but to the service of the arts, broadly interpreted” in her promotion to the distinguished professorship.
